Mari > the road to the northern most point of the country. we never made it because rain and mud turned the already bad road into a slip and slide, especially for our little red honda! we barely made it out... it's a good thing i was not driving!

Mari > here's the road entrance to the 90 mile beach highway.... we decided again taking the honda out for a spin

Mari > as you can see, the loose sand was blowing over the packed sand at a million miles an hour which made for a very unpleasant walk.

Mari > 90 mile beach is actually considered a major highway... there were quite a few crazy people driving really fast past us... many of them had air intakes up at the roof in case they go in the water.

Mari > this is one of the windiest parts of the world i've ever been.... constant wind all over the country. why there are not wind mill everywhere, i have no idea.
