Mari > cuba street in wellington... the happening street with tons of cafes, bars, and clothing stores.
Mari > the two competing ferrys... we took both. both charge around $250 one way, but only the interislander was tolerable. bluebridge reeked of sheep and cows and was so industrial, there wasn't really any nice public area to spend 3 and a half hours.
Mari > downtown Nelson... we were originally planning on living here. It was cute but a bit small and slow compared to Wellington
Mari > Our backpacker's lodge in Nelson... a family's backyard basically... pretty nice though
