Mari > okay so this is pathetic to confess but this was the first time i have ever woken up before dawn to photograph the sunrise. it was pretty... but i am still not sure it's worth losing sleep over!

Mari > yuck... my reaction to some rancid grapefruit juice i had just downed a ton of. things really go bad fast once the ice in the ice chest melts after like 2 days because it's like 100 million degrees out.
Mari > bridge next to the lake powell dam. we stopped at the visitor center to take a peak and they required us to go through metal detectors... they tried to make me take my itsy bitsy swiss army knife that's on my keychain back to the car... we just left instead.
Mari > lake powell... looks pretty spectacular here but in reality it was kinda just a huge dust bucket full of nasty spring breaker type people.
